Aviation Hazards & Incidents

Incidents are events that potentially result in harm to people, property or the environment and reduces business efficiency. Longreach Airport seeks to minimise the occurrence of incidents and to continuously improve through learnings from incidents.

Incidents are often unforeseen, however, Longreach Airport records incidents to help facilitate learnings. Incidents and associated learnings are then reported to a range of internal and external stakeholders to support decision making and ultimately, improve business processes.
