Media Enquiries & Filming

All media enquiries and requests should be made to the Strategic Communications department by emailing media@qldairports.com.au or calling on (07) 5589 1414 (please note this phone number is strictly for media enquiries only and not for the general public). 

Enquiries regarding airline-specific information should be directed to the respective airline’s media department. 

Verified media representatives are welcome in all publicly accessible areas of the airport however the following guidelines apply: 

  • For operational and security reasons, we ask that you please notify our team prior to your arrival so they can notify airline, security and operational staff, as well as the Australian Federal Police. You can do this by emailing media@qldairports.com.au or by calling the Strategic Communications department on (07) 5589 1414. 
  • Filming of airline branding such as at check-in counters and/or airline staff must be approved by the relevant airline. 
  • Filming of security screening staff/equipment is not permitted at any time. 
  • Please do not attempt to access or film sterile/restricted areas unless escorted by an airport team member.

Filming Permits

Any filming and/or stills photography activity carried out for commercial purposes at Longreach Airport requires the prior written permission of Longreach Airport Management. 

Applications can be made by filling out the Filming & Photography Guidelines form and submitting to media@qldairports.com.au at least three weeks before the requested filming date(s) for your request to be reviewed.
