What are the terminal opening hours?

The terminal opens in line with flight schedules. Access may be restricted outside these times.

Is smoking allowed at the airport?

Smoking is not permitted inside the terminal. Designated smoking areas are available outside.

Longreach Airport is owned and operated by Queensland Airports Limited.

No, Longreach operates on Queensland time (AEST) all year.

Are there baby-change facilities?

Yes, there are baby change tables available in the accessible bathrooms. 

Are there shops at Longreach Airport?

No, unfortunately there are no shops or dining facilities at Longreach Airport.

Are their dining options at Longreach Airport?

No, unfortunately there are no restaurants or cafes at Longreach Airport. Vending machines are located in Arrivals and Departures offer drinks, with light snacks available in the Departures Lounge.

Are their Water Fountains at Longreach Airport?

Yes, you can refill your water bottle before you fly. A water fountain can be found inside the Arrivals area for passenger use.

Are there Charging Stations at Longreach Airport?

Yes, Power points are available in the Arrivals & Departures area. 

Can I request assistance at the airport?

Yes, please let your airline know when booking or at check-in if you require assistance. Airline staff will assist with boarding and disembarking.

Are service animals allowed?

Yes, accredited assistance animals are welcome inside the terminal and onboard flights. Please notify your airline prior to arrival.
